TeraByte Unlimited Image For Windows 2.6

The Image for Windows interface is rather basic, but this no-frills approach makes the software easy to navigate.
Full backup, differential backup, restore and validate tools are the only options on the main screen. Individual file and folder backup options are missing, however, so if you need these features you should look elsewhere.
There are no scheduling tools available, so backup images have to be created manually. If you intend to use the software only to create a single image restore point or migrate data between hard disks this won't be a problem, but if you want comprehensive and reliable backups the lack of a scheduling option means you'll have to do a lot of the legwork yourself.
We created a full backup image of our test Windows partition in just over 27 minutes. Backups can be written direct to DVD to create bootable recovery discs, but the main recovery interface is DOS-based, which is an anachronism these days. You can restore individual files from your backup image through a basic but effective image browser.
Image for Windows may be easy to use and it creates disk images without too much trouble, but because of the lack of scheduling tools and the DOS-based recovery interface, we cannot recommend it.
Support Windows XP/ 2K / Vista / 7
